Philanthropic Grooves with the Friends of New World Symphony:

Giselle is a member of the executive committee for the prestigious Friends of New World Symphony. The Friends of New World Symphony is a membership program/subscription series for young professionals, emerging music lovers and budding philanthropists that are committed to making a difference in the music, arts, & cultural scene in the city of Miami. Friends of NWS plays an integral role in the fundraising money in support of the musicians of the NWS, as well as concert funding. Giselle has been working with this organization for the past 3 years and is one of the leaders for the events sub-committee.

The New World Symphony is an American orchestral academy based in Miami Beach, Florida. Established in 1987, the organization is a training ensemble for young musicians in their 20s in preparation for professional careers in classical music. It prepares highly-gifted graduates of distinguished music programs for leadership roles in orchestras and ensembles around the world.

Giselle aims to promote a vibrant classical music community, particularly in South Florida, and to help in the raising of funds through different sponsors in order to facilitate artistically excellent organizations for the performance and presentation of classical music, as well as for music education and the training of musicians.

Giselle strongly focuses on music and music education in her philanthropy, as well as assists in the organization of events created to invite more supporters of the arts to engage in raising funds to support the New World Symphony.
